The OECD has announced that Mauritania has joined the inclusive framework on BEPS and become its 141st member. Mauritania has also committed to address the tax challenges associated with the digitalisation of the economy, and joined 136 other countries in the two-pillar plan to reform international taxation rules which endeavour to ensure that multinational companies pay a fair share of tax no matter where they operate.
