Budget analysis: Dispute resolution

Speed read

It’s been another ‘quiet’ Budget on the tax dispute resolution front. The General Anti-Abuse Rule was the big announcement – though it surprised nobody and the devil will be in the detail. The missed opportunity was no announcement of a review of the LSS – which might have neatly followed the new regime on governance of tax settlements announced in February.
