The HMRC Electricians Tax Safe Plan, due to open in February 2012, will build on the plumbers campaign and will be open to ‘anyone who installs, maintains and tests electrical systems, equipment and appliances under stringent safety regulations’.
HMRC also intends to launch an ‘E-Marketplaces’ disclosure campaign in spring 2012, aimed at ‘those who are using e-marketplaces to buy and sell goods as a trade or business and who fail to pay the tax owed’.
