The Conservatives' proposals include replacing the Climate Change Levy with a new Carbon Levy, and introducing a new Airline Pollution Duty to replace Air Passenger Duty. The Liberal Democrats have also proposed the substantial alteration (or even replacement) of the Climate Change Levy and the Renewables Obligation.
