Finance Bill 2018 passed its second reading in the Commons on Monday 11 December. A Committee of the whole House will debate the following clauses and schedules over two days on Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 December:
clause 8 (exemption for armed forces’ accommodation allowances);
clause 33 and Schedule 9 (bank levy); and
clauses 40 and 41 and Schedule 11 (stamp duty land tax).
The remainder of the Bill will go to a Public Bill Committee, starting on a date to be announced, to be concluded by 18 January 2018. See http://bit.ly/2j4XBV8.
