Fourth International School on VAT — Seville

This year's International School on VAT was held in the ancient city of Seville in Andalucia (about 96km north of Cadiz) on the Guadalquivir River. Seville's main exports are machinery spirits porcelain pharmaceuticals silk tobacco — and of course the city is famous for its sour oranges which are 'dispatched' to the UK to produce our tasty breakfast marmalade! Formerly the centre of a Moorish kingdom Seville has a 12th Century Alcázar palace and a 15th Century Gothic cathedral. The city was the birthplace of the artists...
