Businesses have until 31 May 2019 to apply online for grants to help fund training and IT improvements connected with completion of customs declarations, in preparation for the UK leaving the EU.
This grant scheme, administered on behalf of HMRC by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), opened for applications in December 2018 following the government’s announcement in October of £8m in funding for the scheme. In April, the government confirmed that applications would close by 31 May and possibly earlier, dependent on uptake. See bit.ly/2Kg0O46.
