HMRC has reviewed the feedback from the business risk review (BRR) pilot and made the required changes. The enhanced process, BRR+, has an expected ‘go live’ date of 1 October 2019. BRR+ should allow businesses that have been categorised as non-low risk due to their business landscape risks to move towards low risk, provided that they can demonstrate appropriate low risk behaviours.
