Iceland has deposited its instrument of ratification for the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to prevent BEPS (MLI) with the OECD. The convention will enter into force for Iceland on 1 January 2020. The MLI allows jurisdictions to transpose results from the BEPS project into their existing bilateral tax treaties.
Iceland is the 34th country to ratify the MLI.
