Regulations increasing subscription limits from 6 April 2018.
The Individual Savings Account (Amendment) Regulations, SI 2018/359, increase the junior ISA subscription limit to £4,260 with effect from 6 April 2018. The main ISA subscription limit will remain unchanged at £20,000, as announced at Autumn Budget 2017. The regulations extend from 14 to 60 days the time within which account providers must deliver information to HMRC. They also extend from 14 to 28 days the time allowed for lifetime ISA managers to pay any withdrawal charges to HMRC.
The Child Trust Funds (Amendment) Regulations, SI 2018/358, increase the annual child trust fund subscription limit to £4,260 with effect from 6 April 2018.
