Taxpayers in Jersey filing their 2019 personal income tax returns will for the first time have the option to file online.
Individuals will receive their 2019 personal income tax return paper forms in the post, together with information on how to complete the form online. The deadline for online submission is 31 July 2020, giving two extra months over the paper deadline of 31 May.
Jersey Treasury minister, Susie Pinel, said: ‘This is the first step in the journey towards a fully digital online service for personal income tax. However, completing your tax return online is an option and taxpayers can still complete a paper form if they prefer.’
