Jordan has become the 158th member of the OECD’s global forum on transparency and exchange of information for tax purposes and the 135th country to join the inclusive framework on BEPS.
The global forum is concerned with implementation of the internationally-agreed standards of transparency and exchange of information for tax purposes and includes all G20 countries, all OECD members, all international financial centres and a number of developing countries.
Members of the inclusive framework work together on an equal footing with other OECD and G20 countries on implementing the BEPS package consistently and on developing further standards to address remaining BEPS issues. See bit.ly/347H2gi.
