HMRC has announced that it has designated the MICEX stock exchange – Russia's leading stock exchange – as a 'recognised stock exchange' under ITA 2007 s 1005(1)(b) with effect from 5 January 2011.
The exchange will also be regarded as a recognised stock exchange for inheritance tax purposes from the same date.
