The OECD Secretary-General has published his report to the November 2020 meeting of G20 leaders in Saudi Arabia. The report covers the tax challenges arising from the digital economy (including a progress update on the two pillars), an update on the four BEPS minimum standards, a review of responses to Covid-19, and a section on ‘tax certainty’ covering international tax dispute resolution.
The report also covers the work of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes, looking at the automatic exchanges of information (AEOI) and exchange of information on request (EOIR) standards.
