One minute with... Cathryn Vanderspar

You recently joined Eversheds as the new head of its London tax team. What are your plans for the team in your first year?

With the UK tax team now focused in London and Leeds the aim is to raise the team’s profile to match its skills base and to work with others across the firm to increase our tax advisory and product development role. To service this we will continue to build strength and depth by internal training support and recruitment and to develop our areas of excellence and sector focus. As part of the Eversheds’ global offering project managing the tax aspects of international transactions will also be part of this plan. Collegiality is key to all this so we will party too from time to time.
