The House of Commons public accounts committee is to host a global tax transparency summit on 9 December, bringing together parliamentarians from around the world to discuss the promotion of tax transparency and the prevention of tax avoidance. Speakers will include: Meg Hillier MP; Pascal Saint-Amans (OECD); Alain Lamassoure (chair, EU TAXE2 Committee); Edward Troup (HMRC); Hans Christian Holte (Norwegian tax authority); Prof Michael Devereux (Oxford University); and Prof Rita de la Feria (Leeds University).
