People and firms: VAT Practitioners Group, Coller IP, PwC

Greg Sinfield (pictured), Tax Partner at Hogan Lovells, has been appointed National Chairman of the VAT Practitioners Group.

Coller IP, a specialist in commercial intellectual property management, announced that it has formed an alliance with Transfer Pricing Associates, a provider of transfer pricing and valuation services.

PwC announced that the admission of 50 new partners to the firm with effect from 1 July, in addition to 31 partners recruited from outside the firm during the course of the year, bringing the total of UK partners to 874.
