For HMRC, 2015 is about building our future – putting customers at the heart of how we design and deliver our services. These services will be overwhelmingly – but not exclusively – online; and underpinned by a massive investment in IT which builds on our existing digital capability. To deliver these services, we’re radically transforming our organisation – making the department smaller, more highly skilled and based in fewer locations, to deliver more at better value for the taxpayer. None of this will happen if we don’t involve and engage our people by putting them at the heart of building our future.
