Transparency, reporting and digitalisation are key priorities for tax leaders

A global tax policy survey conducted by Deloitte reveals that transparency and reporting and digitalisation are enduring key priorities for global tax leaders while sustainability policy is having a growing impact on organisations amid ongoing regulatory uncertainty.

According to the report 82% of respondents anticipate heightened tax disclosure requirements in the next three years 86% are observing some movement towards the Tax Administration 3.0 model and 56% noted that their tax functions are ‘fully embedded’ in developing their current sustainability strategies. Tax transparency and reporting therefore remained the top priority for tax leaders followed by digitalisation and then sustainability that encompasses new and emerging taxes reporting and corporate initiatives.
