Many of you will have seen the adverts placed by the Judicial Appointments Commission inviting applications for membership of the new First Tier Tax Chamber (FTTC). Should you apply you will be invited to sit a written test success in which gains you a place at a selection day.
 
You may have been somewhat put off by this rather prep-school procedure but have no fear. Having recently attended the Natasha Kaplinski School of Investigative Journalism's course on Poking Your Nose In (whilst looking cute and just a little distant — I failed cute) the And Finally column can now reveal the contents of that test.
