Uzbekistan has become the 164th member of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes. As a member of the Forum, Uzbekistan will also participate in the Asia Initiative, a programme aimed at tackling tax evasion and avoidance, corruption, and illicit financial flows to enhance domestic resource mobilisation in the region.
