It has been a whirlwind few weeks and not in a good way. November was supposed to be the month of the budget but turned into the month of the second lockdown. January was supposed to be when we put the horrors of 2020 behind us turning over a new leaf but it turned out instead to be another lockdown of indeterminate length.
The good news is that with the vaccination programme under way this should be the last one though Chris Whitty England’s chief medical officer caused a little alarm by suggesting that some restrictions could still be needed next winter. Assuming this is the last lockdown then...
